Beautification Committee

The Beautification Committee, along with our landscaper and neighbor, Stuart Clarke, work to enhance the appearance of our neighborhood entrances. Please remember, it is every resident’s responsibility to keep our neighborhood clean. Please clean up any litter and, as a reminder, there are ‘doggie bags’ at the corner of Little Neck and Harris Roads to clean up your pet’s waste. However, it is not a drop off point for someone else to pick up!  Please dispose of it properly.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee works to collect the annual dues in a timely manner.

After the annual dues campaign, they then compile, print and distribute the directory.

 Social Committee

6745010_origThe Social Committee organizes neighborhood events including the Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Parade and the family Block Party. Please contact the Social Committee Chairperson(s) if you have any questions or are interested in helping with any of these fun, family events.

We are always looking for volunteers with ‘fresh ideas’ to increase neighborhood participation.

Welcoming Committee

The Welcoming Committee shares the gift of hospitality and welcomes newcomers to our neighborhood. If you are a current resident and know of a new neighbor, please contact the Welcoming Committee so they may deliver a welcome gift and neighborhood directory.

Women’s Club

The Middle Plantation Women’s Club is a social group that coordinates a variety of fun activities for its members. The activities are designed for the ladies of Middle Plantation to socialize and make new friends in their community! They are always in need of volunteer hosts, co-hosts and homes to make these events come to life.

Welcome Home to Middle Plantation!

Middle Plantation is a Little Neck subdivision located in the heart of Virginia Beach surrounded by Lynnhaven Bay. Our neighborhood streets are lined with mature pine and oak trees.

The original Middle Plantation, established in 1633, is the town that later became Williamsburg in 1699. It was the capital city of the Virginia Colony. At that time, homes served as the hub of most community activity. The pineapple graced dining room tables and became the symbol to express a sense of welcome, good cheer and warmth inherent in gracious home gatherings.

Our Middle Plantation Civic League welcomes you to our neighborhood. Welcome home!
